Our Story
22 Eventyr began as desk research in 2017.
It has since become field research and beyond.
Ever heard of the Blue Zones? They're places around the world where people tend to live longer, healthier lives. Think of 22 Eventyr as my own Blue Zones-inspired quest — except I am searching for the secret ingredients to a life that feels fuller, not just longer.
Having lived and worked across three continents, I've collected stories and perspectives on how people live—and often translate my learning into real design and strategy work across industries.
Over the years, I've learned that the best designers are the ones that put themselves out there—and live wholeheartedly. Life is a mash-up of people, places, cultures, and unexpected moments. No amount of desk research can capture the real thing.
So, after years planning life around work, I decided to start planning work around life—taking my little family on a world of adventure to experience life first hand.
Somewhere between the adventures, toddler logistics, and the occasional what exactly have we signed ourselves up for? moments, I'm learning that a fuller life isn't necessarily about doing more. Sometimes, it's about noticing more.
That's what 22 Eventyr is here to explore—one experience, one story, and one little discovery (touch point) at a time!
Today
What is 22 Eventyr today?
Experience life, then share the notes.
22 Eventyr is an independent lifestyle publication exploring the stories, ideas, and experiences that make life richer. From Field Notes on the details that shape our experiences, to Out & About adventures in travel, work, and parenting, to For Her and the many journeys of womanhood, we share what we're learning along the way.
Some discoveries are planned; others happen when we least expect them. All are invitations to stay curious.

What's next?
We believe there is more than one way to live a good life. Our hope is to grow 22 Eventyr into a space where curious people discover new perspectives, share stories, and inspire one another to live life on their own terms.
We don't have all the answers. We're just here to keep exploring — and to remind one another that the little things can make life feel wonderfully full.
Here's to living, learning, and finding ourselves along the way!
